So my little Sadie Bug is into anything and everything these days! And I used to run around after the little tornado and clean up the mess she left behind....now it's gotten to the point that I usually wait until she is in bed for the night and do a quick sweep! I can't complain though... I read a quote in a book the other day and I really believe it's true. It's made me want to change my perception and attitude to life.
"Children find everything in nothing, man finds nothing in everything!"
When Sadie was done pulling out these dish rags she got up and walked away and my Dad said "Hey Sadie, why didn't you finish your job? There's still two towells in there."

Sorry it has taken me so long. Life has been a little crazy lately with two kids. What a change. Who would think another could change life so much. Not me but it has. I was so excited to see your blog and your little family. They are adorable. Your post reminds me of our family motto. I found it in an ensign article. It goes. We no longer make messes we make memories. I made this our motto when Taylor started to be at that age. It was hard to keep up and then I ran across this wonderful article in the ensign about your children and messes. I will have to send the link. Anyhow I hope all is well. I am excited to follow you with the blog.

Kate- it is still amazing to me to see how big she is getting. She is so dang cute. I miss you guys tons
WOW! We are fighting the exact same battle...laundry basket, dishwasher, dish towels! I feel the same way as you. My house is a disaster until it is time to go to bed... I clean up... and it is a disater 5 minutes after we wake up! I wouldn't trade it for anything! However, I am a little concerned how I am going to keep Jane entertained during the winter!
