Hey so I know it's been a while since I've posted (not my fault) apparently we have a faulty, stupid, not working, unreliable internet connection. (Don't worry I will be canceling my contract soon!) But on to better and happier things! My brother in law and his wife are in town so I'm stealing their verizon internet card while they are here so I can give you all an update on our lives...
Missouri
We were lucky enough to go to his grandparents for a weekend in beginning of December to see Eli's wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Davidson. Not a whole lotta pictures of that. It was freezing outside so we spent the majority of the time inside. On the way there though we did make a quick stop at Bass pro shop. Sadie loved the crocodile!!!
I think this next picture is priceless and am so glad we were able to get one with them and the kids. It was so wonderful spending time with them and they always do all they can to make us feel welcome!
Here is a few of us decorating the tree. Sadie was in love with our tree this year she talked about it all the time and everytime we saw a tree somewhere else she would have to tell them that we had a Christmas tree at our house. One night we left the tree lights on and went to a ward activity, when we walked in the door that night all she said was "WOW" you should have seen that look on her face. I'm not sure what made it so much better that night then all the others but she thought it was something special.

Sadie, Me, and Ben by the masterpiece! I think it turned out pretty nice myself! I do feel bad I didn't get a picture of Eli helping though...I thought I had a picture of him holding Sadie up to put the star on the tree but I can't find it :(

Glad you finally got to update with some pictures! Happy you had a good Christmas even though you couldn't spend it with me. :) Your tree looks very pretty, I can see why Sadie loved it.
Isn't it just so much fun when they finally start understanding Christmas? (Not that I would know, Carlee isn't there yet, but I'm pretty excited for next year!) Your kids are adorable!

Okay... so as far as your question goes... YES they are old enough to play together, and stay out of my way... for a couple of HOURS even! I probably should have put in there... If your kids are over the age of 3 and have a sibling to play with. LOL.
Because I remember how hard it was to be TOTALLY organized and clean when my girls were REALLY little. Because they wanted me to play with them. I did a LOT during nap time.
Can you put her in front of a movie for a while? Sometimes that works.
It is harder with small kids, for SURE!
I really do believe in just doing one space at a time... Don't overwhelm yourself. If Sadie needs LOTS of attention that day... just try it again another day. That's what I do. You probably know how it is... some days you feel like you're on top of it all. House, kids, laundry.. and then 3 days later.... you're asking yourself if a bomb hit your apartment. LOL. I've totally been there.

It's from Anthropology, and it's like $200 BUCKS! WOAZA~! I DEF. need to make something of my own. lol.
You're so sweet to think of me. I have YET to find something fantastic for that shower. ugh. I just want to buy it, and not spend the HOURS I know it will take, making it! :)
