Christmas Eve

Well Eli got called into work on Christmas Eve morning...like early ealry (4:30 or so) to go to anther town where there had been a tornado so there were some big power outages. Anyway they told him to pack for a few days because they werent' sure how long it would take. We were kinda bummed...because seriously who wants to be working all of Christmas. But we couldn't turn down the over time and the upside was that honestly Sadie is to young to know exactly what day Christmas is on so we thought it would be okay. We had invited some people over for a Christmas Eve party so I decided to go ahead with that anyway because I didn't want to just sit all Christmas Eve and Christmas alone.

I didn't get many good pictures of the whole group so here are just a couple of Sadie and I playing the Candy Bar Game. It was a fun twist on it. After you rolled doubles you had to put your hat scarf acd gloves on before you could even start opening the gift wrapped candy bars...with forks haha.

We also had a little Christmas Miracle. It Snowed Christmas Eve! Can you see the teeny tiny sciffs of snow on the grass? Sadie and Bailey had a BLAST playing in it! It was so cute how much they loved it!

For those of you feeling bad for me because I spent all Christmas Eve alone.. Cheer up :) Eli pulled in the drive at 6:30 Christmas morning and luckily Santa Hadn't come yet. He must have came after Eli got into bed because when Sadie woke up at 7:15 Christmas morning he had left the presents....
