All by myself

Yeah I did it...all by myyyyyyyyself.....okay that song is in my head...who sings that? Anyway yeah I did it...it's my birthday, I did it it's my birthday!

I made a shirt all by myself...okay I'll quite saying it. Please don't look to close because heaven knows it's not even close to perfect, but I was impressed that it even looked like a shirt.

I had seen this tutorial here and fell in love. So I grabbed one of my old T-shirts and got to work.

Whatd'ya think?

This is the first sewing project I've started and finished in my adult life. And I'm not gonna lie ...it was hard and it seemed like it took me FOREVER and a day! I had such a hard time it with the sleeves but I think the more I try it the better I'll get so I'm gonn keep working on it. Hope it doesn't fall apart when I wash it. :)

Now as for Sadie.

*Everyday I ask her how she wants her hair and almost everyday she says "Curly Poodles" (two little twisties on top of her head) she loooooves the result at the end of the day.

 This little girl just constantly keeps us laughing she is so full of energy and life. The little munchkin. Love her to death!

The other day she had a rash all over her body (we have all been sick this week but she's the only one that got that) it was kind blistery looking and from head to toe. I called my Mom and we came to the conclusion it might be chicken pox we just couldn't figure it out. Sadie was listening to us talk. The good news is that the next morning when she woke up it had dissapeared.

*Well yesterday we had a conversation that went like this.

Eli and I were conversing lunch

Sadie "I want Chicken pox."

Me ...smile "what?"

Sadie "Um...no I not want chicken pox I want steak fingers...I luuuuuuuuv to eat them.

Cute huh!?

*Also we had a talk 2 nights ago about Princesses. Did all of you that princesses don't use binki's? Well they don't. So Sadie and I talked about this and decided that she was going to sleep without her binki and the next morning she would be a "true princess" and she did it. She also remembered our conversation the next morning and had to wear a fancy dress all day with her shiny pink shoes. We went to Costco and Walmart and got Bens pictures taken I think the lady thought Sadie was the one getting pictures done at first.

On our way home we told her she would be napping when we got there and she replied "But. I'm. a. Princess!!!"

So we explained to her princesses also nap. Naptimes haven't been going that great though but Sadie was so proud of herself and did great again last night!

That Binki's going in the garbage!! Woo hoo!

*Lately she will pretend she is falling or something and start yelling "Help! help princess mom. Save me!" it is so funny I don't know where she got it from. Then I'll go save her and she says "Ooh thank you Princess Mom" haha

*She is also in love her her baby brother ben. She calls for him from her crib in the morning. Is always lovin' and huggin' on him. Thinks most other babies are "yuck" (that's her word) I ask her why and she just says that she only wants her baby ben. "Benjam Wals Bee" Yes sometimes she uses his full name. When he cries or fusses she will run up to him and say "Ben I here. I here buddy." or sometimes it is "I know...I know" like she totally understands him. They are too darling together and just the best of friends!

Well off I go to make a Fall Septer with Sadie. What can I say she's a Tinkerbell fan. Maybe we'll have pictures to show later.
