Hey! Many of you know we had a fun trip to seaworld planned. It's only about 2 1/2 hours from our house so off we went. We made it and we had a great time. Sadie has been talking about this since about October when we checked out a book from the library about the ocean. She saw a picture of a killer whale and hasn't stopped talking about Shamu. I think he was a big help of getting rid of the binky and potty training.
When we got there she was so excited.
We got there just in time for the show and when we showed her what building Shamu was in she took off RUNNING and yelling "I coming Shamu! I am here!"
Seriously the sweetest thing ever. Honestly it was priceless.
It actually brought tears to mine and Eli's eyes.
(just a few little ones)
Now this is when the water works started. And by water works I mean the tears! I told her they were waving goodbye with their tails. And there she went....crying and crying. At first we thought she was crying because she didn't get splashed but Eli took her closer and she got a little wet...yah that didn't help any...just made the crying worse.
(keep in mind we left really early and she had no nap)
We finally got her to calm down when we told her Shamu had a lot more friends outside that we could go visit.
It was so funny. We met the McCalls there and Sadie and Bailey were dressed them same. This is them practicing their Shamu arms
"Shamu shamu shamu"
At the AZUL show.
It was pretty fun to watch. They had some crazy synchronized swimming and people jumping from the ceiling to the water and off that crazy teter-totter thing in the picture below. I mean they were way up there it was nuts!
Enjoying some nachos
Ben is full of smiles
This was the dolphin feeding pool. It was only $5 to feed them but we waited to long to get in line so we will definately do it next time. But we could still put our arms in the pool and lean over and wait for dolphins to swim by. One of them swam up to me and I was able to touch his nose it was so awsome! Eli was able to touch some to cuz he can reach really far!!! Sadie had fun watching she probably would have jumped in if we had let her. I think she was sad she didn't get to touch one. After that one came up to me she said
"Mommy maybe you can do it, you is good at catching fish"
When we got in the car to go home Sadie Said
"Shamu wore me out, we stayed shamu tooooo long.... but I'm okay!"
It was super cute and she is now talking about going back again.
All in all we had a GREAT time! And are so happy that we bought season passes!

Sounds like fun. Come visit and go with us anytime! We usually only stay for a couple hours, since we live about 10 minutes away, but we would make an exception and stay all day for you!

How fun is that? I wish I could go to Sea World, I think Carlee would love it too! (Although, she would probably just think it was another kind of puppy...since that's what everything is to her.) Your kids are darling, I can't believe how big Ben is already!
