Decorating Easter eggs! She talked about this for days and days!

(When am I gonna learn to keep my mouth shut about things until it's actually time to do it?)

Anyway when we finally got around to it she was just super excited! She thought is was awsome and wanted to dip each egg in every color!

After the egg decorating I was making dessert for Easter dinner and then went in to change Bens diaper...I came out to find this. The little sneak had grabbed what was left of the chocolate bowl and sat down in front of the T.V.

She sure takes after her Mama

And yes the Easter bunny did make it to our house! And boy did our kiddos LOVE it!

The Easter bunny left a trail of Jelly beans from Sadies bed to her basket...in the morning she came running into our room with her hands FULL of jelly beans "Mommy, Dad, YOOK da easter bunny left me jelly beans." Us "Wow!" Sadie (frowning) "But he didn't leave a basket" Us "Well, were those all of the jellybeans or were there more?" She was obviously so excited she didn't check anywhere but her room so Eli and I climbed out of bed and went to help her find more. This is her picking up the rest of the trail of Jelly beans. And then she saw all the candy the Easter bunny hid around the family room and went nuts running around grabbing everything she could find.

He loved his basket too and kept pulling out one thing after another would chew on it for a bit then move onto something new.

7am and already full of sugar. I think the only thing she ate all day besides candy was a hot dog. Which is really to bad because we went to the McCalls for dinner and had yummy steak, potatoes, bread, salad, dessert...Mmmmm...she sure missed out!

She was obviously super excited for her new toothpaste!

Ben was too!

The Easter bunny must have known they'd be eating candy non stop for days!

(I didn't even get a picture of Sadie in her dress this year... actually with it being conferance weekend and all I didn't even put her in it. Maybe next week she can wear it.)
