Sadie

Just a quick story I wanted to document about Sadie. She is always doing things like this and is so sweet to everyone!

She was so upset she couldn't come to the ultra sound for the baby when Eli and I went, so I promised her she could  come to my next Doctors Apointment. She was so excited and looking forward to it for days. When the big day finally arrived I asked her if she was sure she wanted to go or if she would rather stay and play with her friend Bailey. (That's where I was taking Ben to be babysat) She kept telling me no Mom I want to come with you! That afternoon we went to drop Ben off and he always puts on a show that he's completely upset when we leave him for nursery or at a sitters and then the second we leave he's fine. Well I got back out to the car and said "Well he's not very happy" Sadie of course asked why and I told her it was just because he wanted to come with us. She got such a solomn serious look on her face and said "Mom, I need to stay my brother needs me" Of course I'm like "no he doesn't he does this all the time he will be fine in just a minute..." and start backing out of the driveway. "MOM, no I need to stay with him" I looked at her and asked if she was serious because he really would be fine. You could just see this look on her face, she was so torn and just didn't know what to do. She knew what she wanted but she's always is thinking about other people. So she said "Yes, I'm sure. He needs me Mom" so she got out and went in to be with her brother.

I just thought it was so cute and amazing how unselfish she can be (when she wants to be. Don't get me wrong she isn't always that way) but this story is just one example of what a sweet spirit she has. She is such and angel and I love her and the great example she sets for me everyday!
