Silly kids

So Ben started sleeping on a big boy bed a couple weeks ago! I'm so excited, we didn't even have to make a big deal out of it because Sadie had been sleeping on it with grandparents here so he wanted to sleep in Sadies bed. It was actually just a mattress on the floor so a few pictures down is him once we brought his actual bed in and put the mattress on it. He was SOOOO excited! Now it's Ben's bed not Sadies anymore. He still has to nap in his crib though he doesn't leave his room, but he will get out of bed and play with all my stuff in the closet.  He does great at night to stay in bed and doesn't come out of his room after we lay him down for the night he just goes right to sleep. He even waits for us to come get him in the morning. Sometimes he is out of his bed before we get there but he never leaves his room.
 Sweet little Briggs
At preschool we made apple turkeys. They loved it although they wanted to eat them before they even started making them. They did get them made though. However the turkeys just didn't have a very long life span.
Ben always joins in when preschool is at our house and loves to do the worksheets and crafts with us. Here he is eating his turkey. He did great making it and insisted on doing almost all of it on his own. He is getting so big and independent I can't believe it!
Sadie has seriously been such a wonderful big sister! She is almost always willing to run get brothers binki or burpcloth or diaper and loves to hold him anytime she can get the chance. She has so much love in her heart for her brothers and it's so sweet. Her and Ben do fight I'm not gonna lie, and I have to admit I sort of thought sibling rivalry started later on down the road when they were a bit older. But it's funny because she has kindof taken it upon herself to potty train Ben. She will always ask him if he needs to go potty and then takes him in there and gets the stool over by the toilet and his little seat on there. She will come down the hallway and I'll say "Where is Ben?" and she says "Oh he is in the bathroom, he needed to go potty."
He hasn't went actually went in the potty yet but apparently she thinks he is ready :) She has also tried to put him down for his nap a few times since he has gotten his new bed. She is such a little mom!

A little side note. The last week of so when I ask one her the other to go and do something for me or for Briggs they have to try to beat each other too it and then whoever doesn't get to do it starts crying. So now I have to give them each a specific job to do even if I don't need 2 things done at the time just to eliminate the screaming at each other.

Trying on my new boots. She always loves to wear my church shoes around the house too. She thinks they are fancy. She wears those little plastic highheels ALL the time!
We have a little Mt. Dew theif on the loose! He already loves to drink pop but it doesn't matter what kind because he seems just as happy if I get him a water from McDonalds. So as of now anything in  a cup with a straw is pretty cool for him, although he does like to sneak a can in here and there too.
Oh and did I forget to mention we got a couple new puppies at our house?
This is one of their new favorite things to do-is play puppy and eat cereal out of a bowl. I am mean though don't let them have a bowl of water to go with it very often.
I do remember doing this when I was a kid though so it makes me smile.
