Some Thanksgiving fun

We were super lucky to host Thanksgiving at our house this year. Eli's parents, Grandma and Grandpa Davidson, and Sy were all able to join us. We had such a fun time with everyone here. I hope the kids didn't wear them all out to much. We had a fabulous dinner (once the turkey FINALLY decided to finish cooking...2 1/2 hours later than planned..) it was pretty sad about the turkey just because Eli was on call Thanksgiving day and would have actually been able to eat dinner with us if it had been ready on time. He got called out just before it was done and we had to save him a plate.
Linda, Sy, and I enjoyed a little black Friday shopping.

I set Briggs in here during the older kids baths and he just fell right asleep it was so cute.
Smiley little Briggs. He is such a little joy and we love it when he has the smiles.

Poor Sy...the kids just love him to much and made him sit with them at their table.
Ben is out of control and somehow climbed behind here. He didn't need help out though he figured it out all by himself. Sadie of course couldn't handle everyone giving Ben all the attention and laughing at him so as soon as he climbed out she had to climb right in and hollar for me until I came and took some pictures. Crazy girl.

Linda and I missed out on the trampoline deal at walmart but were able to score one at Sports Academy.  These are pics of the kids outside helping Eli put it up.  I said "Who's excited to have a trampoline" and Ben threw his arms in the air and said "ME!!"
We actually already had a tramp but it was an old one someone had given us and the springs were popping off all over. We looked at just new matts and pads but it would have been more expensive than a new one and we got a net with this one so I feel like the kids are safer. Anyway we didn't save it for Christmas because this is the best time of year for them to be using it. Summer is way to hot and we want them to get as much use out of it as they can.

How fun to have family for Thanksgiving!

Love the trampoline. That's next on the list (after a yard big enough to put one in :)
