I walked in to find Ben changing his brothers diaper. He loves his brother so much it's the sweetest thing ever. He is always asking to hold him or hug him or kiss him. He loves him so much that alot of times now his little lion or cow he will wrap up in a blanket and use a baby. If he is lucky Sadie will let him use a doll. He just rocks them for a minute and lays them down. Ben has been talking so much more lately. I'm so proud of him. We were kindof worried for a while because he didn't even want to try but ever since about when Briggs was born he has been doing alot better and is now even saying small sentences, can count to 5...sometimes he makes it to 10 but not always. And he has been trying to figure out his colors. His new favorite think is pink milk (strawberry) and when ever I bring him a sippy of milk he always says "Pink- in it?" He is the happiest giggliest little guy. Loves to tell this joke "Knock knock" "Who's there?" "Nana oatmeal" (banana oatmeal) it's so funny because he gets so excited when he's telling it that his nana oatmeal always sound high pitch and giggly- so silly! Then he just laughs and laughs at his own joke. Still hauls his rope around with him everywhere and can just light up your world with his smile. He just steals my heart!
I guess little Briggs just ties our family together because Sadie is the same way. The 1st thing she wants to do in the morning is hold her brother. Which is nice for me because I get a chance to get ready for the day, make beds, etc. She loves to hand him toys, read him books, and help him learn new things. I can't remember if I mentioned it before but we put her in a gymnastics class and she absolutely loves. She is really smart. Loves to play outside and watch TV. When ever something surprises her or makes her mad she always says "SERIOUS?!" and for a while she wasn't calling people, people she would refer to everyone as a human. And once when we past a muddy truck she said "Mom, that humans truck it BLASTED with mud!" When we went to Kathy's the other day the other kids had beat us there and had toys all over. And she said "Oh my heck, Mom that room is FLOODED with toys!" Notice all the capital letters? She is just that dramatic! Lately she has really been trying to "test her limits" i guess you would say... just to see what she can get away with. Also she no longer likes to make her bed so she will only sleep on top of the covers with a blanket so all she has to do it fold her blankets. She is a handful and we love her!
Sorry but these are just so cute and don't you think that smile is just perfect with those glasses.
We made homemade playdough a few weeks ago and the kids just thought it was great! See there happy faces!
