Missouri!

Yah! Logan and Erin drove back with us on the way home from Idaho. Of course we had to make a stop in Missouri. Logan stayed there and Erin continued to Texas with us. Check out the fun we had while we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa Davidson and Grandma and Grandpa Bee.

Ok so I mentioned earlier that Logan and Erin rode back with me well I have to just tell some of the story from our trip home because it was not as fun as we had planned. And I'm sure Sadie is not going to appreciate this when she is older but I just have to journal about it. The day before we were supposed to leave (well i guess it was the night before the day before) Sadie had a fever during the night. So the next day she woke up and she felt fine no more fever but she had diahrea really bad all day long. We went to Betseys to help her paint her house a little and Sadie just kinda hung out inside the house (using the bathroom once in a while) while the other kids played and eventually she fell asleep in the chair.  Well the rest of the day she seemed totally fine other than having to run to the bathroom all the time. She ate fine, drank fine, played fine. We were supposed to leave the next day really early so I just figured I'd see how the night went. Well it actually went OK so I thought I would just give her a few hours in the morning and see if she was still doing better well it was the same as the day before we were in and out of the B-room alot! Needless to say I wasn't sure what to do. We had already been in Idaho a month, Logan and Erin had taken off work and bought plane tickets...we wanted to see Jenny, Patrick, and Grayson while we were in Missouri so we couldn't really postpone the trip. Finally I made a trip to stokes for pull ups and childrens Pepto bismol and we were on the road. A few minutes after she had taken her first dose of pepto she said she thought she was going to throw up so I hurried and pulled over and then she said never mind she was gonna be ok. So we made it to Bear Lake to get Jamie and Logan (made a bathroom stop) and heading on our road trip. An hour or two into the drive I gave her another pepto because we had already changed pull ups atleast 2x's. Well come to find out it was apparently the pepto that upset her stomach because she threw up everywhere! I'm not even gonna go into more detail I feel like that's enough. Lets just say Logan is one super awesome uncle because before we even made it 3 hours on the road he had been pooped and puked on! So we did no more pepto and just kept driving the best we could. We made a few more stops and I tried to stay patient when really I felt like crying. It was such bad timing for a sick kid and I just felt awful for her. We were going to try and drive all night but by the time 10 O'clock hit I knew I was to tired to do it even with Logan and Erin there to help drive. After stopping in one town where we checked EVERY single hotel and there was no vacancy we drove another 1/2 hour and found a little dumpy place we could stay at. I don't think I good nights rest ever felt so good! Sadie did considerably better the next day (although she still wasn't herself) and our trip went by a lot less eventful and a lot more fun! She was still sick pretty much all through our trip to Missourri and I took her to the Dr. the night we got back home to Texas from Missouri. He said it was probably a bacteria from food/water that she had eaten since nobody else had gotten anything. (Although nobody could think of a thing she had that nobody else hadn't eaten.) He didn't end up doing any test or anything though because the next morning she woke up and was totally fine- like excellent- no issues at all!

And we were all so glad!

 I'm just going to say trips to Missourri are bad luck for us, broken down trucks, tooth aches, sick kids... It's a good thing we love our family so much that it gives a good reason to go back even with all the drama :)
