The Annual Christmas Tree Hunt!

It's a great family tradition that the day after Thanksgiving we hit the mountains to find the perfect tree. The day always starts off with Delicious muffins and juice, people running around hectic to find their boots, gloves, and hats. And through all of that extended family and loved ones show up at my mom's to join th fun and prepare for the hunt. Once everyone arrives we all jump in a vehicle (that we hope won't get stuck along the way) and begin our journey. After we all find the tree we've been dreaming of we make our way back to the church house for some warm soup, creamy hot chocolate, and some heart warming chatting. This is a tradition that has been going on since before I can remember It started just a few years after my parents were married and I think they are going on 33 years. It's something I look forward to every year. Sadie and I sure missed Eli this year since he was working but can't wait for him to help us get our tree up!
Looking for the perfect tree!

Russell pulling Sadie in the Sled she was all smiles, after a while though we had to take her out and give Russ a break I think pulling her up the hill started wearing him out! :)

Ta-Da this is it! Isn't it great! Once we get moved to Boise and have it up and decorated I'll post some more pics! Until then
....MERRY CHRISTMAS!
