Can you Believe it?!

I can't! My baby turned 1 on Friday!

And we had one heck of a pawty!

We had a really good time and a big celebration. I don't think Ben knew what was going on

or that any of it was specifically just for him. But we hope he looks back at these pictures and sees how loved he is!

And he made off with a loot! I'm not kidding you it looked like we had just celebrated Christmas in our living room!

We love you so much Benjamin! You make us so happy everyday with your darling giggles and smiles. You're a pretty quiet little guy and you don't say very many words yet. Just Momma and Dada and usually only when you have too. But you hardly ever stop smiling, you love your big sister and follow her around the house all the time. You are a tough boy and such a good sport even when you get picked on or get things taken away from you.

You absoluetly love fruit loops and well...pretty much food in general. The last couple weeks you have been loving to drink chocolate and strawberry milk.

You like to play with your friend Lexi that Mom babysits. She is just about 1 month younger than you and you guys just sit and smile at each other. You like music and like to dance. You love turning off and pushing buttons on the T.V.

Whenever we say No no about something you turn around and give us a big old grin and then do it anyway because you think you're being silly. For some reason you are fascinated with the vacuum (you chase me ALL over the house so now I vacuum while your napping) and the garage you try to crawl out there everytime you see (or hear) me open the door to go do laundry or something and then you cry if I bring you in or close the door before you get there.

Those are just a few of the darling things that you do! We love you and can't wait to see what the next year will bring!

He didn't dig into the cake like I thought he would- he was content just to pick off the cocoa puffs and eat them
