A Good Night

So yesterday was sort of a long day. I was supposed to have church meetings to go to but Ben had been feverish the afternoon before and all night long. So when I woke up I called to let them know I wouldn't be coming. And Eli had a busy day of roping, shoeing horses, and all the other stuff that usually keeps him busy. And even though I definately did alot yesterday and even had company-sometimes you just feel lonely.
(maybe it's because my last 3 weeks were packed full of family and this one wasn't? I dunno?)
He must have know I needed some Eli time because even though I've been home over a week now we've both been so busy we've hardly seen each other.

So he ended up coming home around 9:45 pm and told me to get my flip flops on and come with him.
So I walked outside and he had pulled the truck up on the lawn, put the tail gate down, and had to fountain drink Mt. Dew waiting.

And we just sat out in the back of the truck and talked
and looked at stars
(as many as you can see in the sky in the city anyway)
We did see a few shooting stars though-so that was fun!

Anyway I just wanted to share-
Isn't he so cute and thoughtful?
I wish we could do that everynight
